Want to diy finish your basement? One of the first things you’ll do after choosing your layout is to build a basement wall.
It doesn’t have to be hard, but there are a few things you need to know and plan in order to make sure you do it right. Here’s a quick overview to get you on the right track.
How to Build a Basement Wall Overview in 6 Steps
1st: Attach pressure-treated lumber to the floor
2nd: Mark and plan your studs
3rd: Cut and build your wall on the floor
4th: Lift and stand the wall into place
5th: Install the bottom screws and then level the wall
6th: Once the wall is level, add the top screws
